South Bay United was born from our love for lacrosse and desire to grow the sport in our local community. We're excited to offer a positive and welcoming atmosphere for athletes of all ages and abilities to dive into the excitement of lacrosse. Our programs aim to foster a strong affinity for the game, teach important life skills, and build a vibrant lacrosse community in the South Bay area.

LACROSSE DEFENSE | STOP Getting Beat! | Defensive Techniques

http://www.ilovelacrossetv.com/free-workout This is another characteristics that may lead to mechanical inefficiencies in your lacrosse defensive techniques. The defensive characteristic we are going to speak about is called "Collapsing Elbows". When we play defense what we want to do when we make contact with the ball carrier we want our arms to be straight out. This is so we can keep space between our body and the lacrosse stick. That way when you control the ball carrier and move them and steer them where we want. What we don't want is loose arms and for them to be able to lean into us. The closer they get to our body the harder for us on defense to control them.
